What are Superfoods?

A superfood is classified as a natural, highly bioavailable, and nutrient-rich plant based food that is beneficial for your health & well-being.  The proportional weight to nutrient density is high in these substances.  Superfoods are easily absorbed and assimilated in the body.  Dr. Ken calls these foods "elemental nutrition".  Superfoods are high in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals and some are high in macronutrients like protein.
